Shoreline Paving L.L.C. Paving was done Aug and cracking, loose gravel/asphalt, poor quality and North Carolina

Last Aug 14th Shoreline Paving paved our driveway. Within the month we had loose gravel/asphalt, cracking and shortly thereafter you could see our old asphalt. It is less than 1/2 inch thick, not the promised 2 inch of asphalt. The contract reads that it was to be machine laid (it was not) and if there was defects, that they would fix it within a year.

I called several times in the fall without speaking to anyone and then left a message I was going to call contact six. I got a call the next day from Mark Gregoire, the owner and he promised that when they returned from the carolinas, they would stop first at our home in WI and make it right in beginning of May.

Our driveway now has the old asphalt visible in over 15 large areas, and it disenigrates daily. We hand brush or use a blower to clear out the loose gravel as it breaks apart daily and the next day there is more loose gravel/asphalt.

In the middle of May I again called as they had not come, and Mark stated they were still working in NC and would come to our home first when they came to WI in June. June came and went and I called in the beginning of July. Marks cell phone was disconnected and they still have the business answering machine, but I decided to submit to complaint to save any other individuals from this same fate!
