Never gave money back for items returned - put me off for months and months

I ordered several times from these guys. The last time they sent their installer over with over $450 in materials I purchased with them. The installer showed up in a bad mood, said he looked over the job and it wasn't what he had in mind. I asked him to show me where the problems were and he said "No, I'm outta here".

Fair enough (I guess), but I told him to take the items that I purchased back to the company. He resisted at first but then decided to indeed take it back with him.

I called Gene immediately to ask him to refund the items we returned. He was hemming and hawing and said he'd need to check with the rep on their "refund policy". He'd let me know in two weeks. Every time I called it was another two weeks, and another conversation with this "rep".

We ordered in February of 09 and now its the end of June without any refund. Since I was dealing the whole time with the manager of the store (Gene), this doesn't bode well for other customers. I understand if they have cash flow problems and needed to delay a bit in crediting our account. But to just stuff us altogether and put us off month after month for a few hundred dollars - I can't imagine they'll be in business much longer. Beware of doing business with this company!
