On February 27th I got started with ServiceMagic. I spoke to Bill Thomas at location Best Regards, ServiceMagic, Inc. 14023 Denver West Parkway Bldg. 64, Suite 200 Golden, CO 80401
CustomerService@ServiceMagic.com Toll Free: (877) 947-3639. Who informed me that I could pay for $150 in leads and receive $200.00 in leads, After the 1st month I went online to renew my months fees only to find out that is was only a promotion for 1 month. I was mislead yet after speaking to a customer service rep via live chat (Kristen) I agreed to give servicemagic another shot. Going into my new month I received many leads, As I am fully aware not every lead will be won, but when given leads with disconnected phone number, Fax machine phone numbers and being told I am a competitor testing the system I submitted a request for lead replacement.
I received emails stating the lead replacements were denyed. This is something that definetly upset me since on their website it is clearly stated that if these instances occur a lead replacement would take place, How can I possibly contact people with no such number. I again visted live chat and was basically told " Oh well deal with it" I then contacted the customer service department via email and requested my account be cancelled I was I not paying for fake leads, in the mean time my account balance was $78.00 that I in turned owed servicemagic,
A week went by they credited me for 1 lead and only charged my credit card $65.00 Yet a few days later I got another email stating the other lead replacements were granted. To date there is a positive balance on the servicemagic account that has been requested 5 times to be cancelled a $32.50 credit. My 1st question is why was my credit card charged wtihout a completion of the lead investigation then my card would have only been charged $32.50.2nd Why is the $32.50 that was returned to me not processed back on my credit card. Servicemagic is very quick to take someones money but NOT quick to give it back.
On May 12th I called and asked to speak to a supervisor, after waiting on the phone for 12 minutes I was put threw with J.D. Williams Marketing Account Specialist Customer Experience Management Team ServiceMagic, Inc. Phone: 303-963-7216 Fax: 866.420.7891 Email: jdwilliams@servicemagic.com Visit us at: www.ServiceMagicPros.com Who spent 1 hour and 22 minutes on the phone with me, When our conversation ended, It ended with his offer to show me how to be successfull with Servicemagic and a follow up call on Tuesday May 19th.
To date I have not gotten the follow up phone call from J.D. Williams In turn I did get a phone call from a rep on Monday the 18th asking me What happend with servicemagic and why did I want to cancel my service. I breify told the woman (Should have gotten her name) the situation and she stated she showed in the notes a follow up with JD would take place tomorrow (Tuesday May 19) Again it never happend.
I have googled Servicemagic and found ALOT of unhappy customers who has at some point in time tried servicemagic, I will not stop and anything to make sure no one else gets skammed into their fake leads, I want my $32.50 returned back to my card, I want NO more phone calls from Servicemagic reps. And Finally I want the account that was supposed to be cancelled to be actually cancelled. (I still have access to it).
