RMBC Collection Bureau
Harrassment personified!

Construction & Repair

About 5 years ago, I joined a Gardening Book Club. I received and paid for 3 or 4 books before deciding to cancel because they sent books to often and the expense ($29.95) was too high. I wrote and cancelled... Twice. Then they sent another book. I returned the book, wrote another "cancelled" across the invoice and thought that was the end of it.

Then I started getting past due invoices. After wasting four or five stamps (I even sent them a copy of the original mail receipt) saying the membership had been cancelled, I started getting dun notices from the RMBC collection company. I responded that I did not owe this debt and had returned the book I was being dunned for. Now they are back with renewed vigor, sending letters which I consider harrassment. What can I do?
