This is my second issue with RoomStore, so Im summarize what my problems is. Purchased $7k worth of furniture back in June/ July time frame, including 2 complete queen bedroom suites, a LR and DR set. All but the DR set was defective, took me almost 6 months, and with the help of the local trouble shooter to get the LR set replaced. I had to have 2 of my mattresses exchanged due to defects, and eventually went to another store and purchased a new mattress for myself, so basically took a loss on that purchase.

Shortly after, my daughters mattress started to bulge, this was in October, only 2 months after purchasing the mattress. That replacement was replaced in December, and now THAT mattress is also defective! The first mattress had a "bulging" problem, where the inside contents of the mattress caused a bulge on the side of the mattress, which is the identical problem this 3rd mattress is exhibiting.

The 2nd mattress had a compression problem, one corner of the mattress was actually compressing. RoomStore tells me they can arrange a reselection b/c i have a 10 year warranty on the mattress. 10 years! The mattress doesnt last more than 2 months and how many mattresses will we have gone thru in 10 years? I called one of the supervisors at RoomStore, I want a refund, no longer want to deal with exchanging mattresses on a monthly basis. Roomstore told me they cant give a refund and that Sealy would have to do that, so I called Sealy and they told me since they sell the roomstore the mattresses, its up to them.

Waiting for a call back from a higher level customer service manager and also from the NC Attorney Generals Office. This store needs to be put out of business. I will do my part in letting ppl know not to shop there. This is crazy! I dont understand how RoomStore can get away with selling defective mattresses at first rate mattresses. But obviously they are, b/c ive seen plenty of complaints about the mattresses they sell. Stay away from this place. Had to chuckle. When I contacted the local news trouble shooter reporter, she told me she had done a story on them before, she was told by a RoomStore associate "what do they expect? We're not selling quality furniture"..
