Templeton Roofing & Remodeling Performed Inferior Siding Work and Have Not Honored Warranty

Josiah Templeton and his business partner, Stefan Cook, were hired to perform siding repair as a result of the hurricane winds that came through the Ohio area on September 14. Fortunately, unlike some victims, they did not walk away with my deposit. However, they have failed to honor their 10 year warranty. It was a little over a month after they repaired my siding that the pieces they had replaced started to fall off my house because they had been applied with glue and some with just one nail. It was a struggle to get Mr. Templeton to have someone to come out to my home to fix the siding; which I luckily have documented extensively. Eventually my siding was "fixed". However, less than a month later the same piece along with two other pieces had fallen off. Again, it was a struggle to get Josiah Templeton to respond and at one point he refused. He had one of his associates come out who placed two visible (rusty) nails into the siding.in December of four more glued pieces fell off my home. At the time of this report, Josiah Templeton's phone is no longer in service and his business partner is not answering my calls nor returning my messages. I am now forced to have to hire another contractor to repair the shotty work that was performed by this company in order to avoid the exposed wood from rotting due to snow and other forms of moisture.

I filed a report with the BBB back in November, but Templeton Roofing and Remodeling did not respond. Please avoid this company. They told me they were Dayton BBB approved and at the time they were with no complaints and they came across as very genuine, but they had only been in business since March. I like to consider myself an informed consumer, so please learn from my mistake and do thorough research before hiring anyone for home repairs.
