Vanderbilt Mortgage/Clayton Homes Another HORRIBLE experience to share

She raise all kinds of heck, refused to pay and then held hostage due to the land deal. A man cam out and did a 1/2 you know what job of replacing the tile in the kitchen only, nailing trim over the original trim and leaving big bubbles but NEVER did anyone do any other repair to the home. When she pressured them about the hail damage the salesman initiated a claim with the insurance company. A check was issued, signed over to the lot and no repairs ever took place.

Over a 5 year period she would beg for what she was paying for with empty promises or unanswered phone calls and letters. Withholding payments was the ONLY way to get anyone to even talk to her and she endured thousands of phone calls and demeaning, slanderous, threatening, harrassing encounters including several times at her JOB. Her Mother had to replace phones because they wore them out with phone calls, but NEVER to say "We're sorry, we'll get that home fixed for you right away" only to threaten. She had enough, refused to pay, went to court without an attorney because she couldn't afford one and was told by the judge "Ms. Odom you have presented a compekking case and in most case I would rule in your favor, HOWEVER, you choose to come to court WITHOUT an attorney so YOU LOSE, and proceeded to give Vanderbilt everything they asked for.

Within 2 weeks the home was off the property, actually taken on Staci's daughter's 4th birthday, don't worry, she wasn't homeless, she had spent most of the previous 5 years living next door with her mother because she didn't want to live in that thing. Again, continued
