T&T Water Restoration
Sent high employee out and caused additional damage

After our sewage backed up T&T was called out to clean up the mess. The man who came out smelled like marijuana and had blood shot eyes. He then proceeded to rip out all the walls and carpet because he said there was black water that had touched them and they needed to be removed. He removed the toilet from the piping but failed to properly turn off the water to the toilet.

Because this is our only bathroom our insurance put us up in hotel. This was five days before christmas. On Dec. 29 my husband went back to the house to find that the valve had not been turned all the way off and water filled up the 5 inch long, 1 in diameter pipe drip by drip. Over the course of four days the pipe filled and water spilled over the pipe and onto the floor. Because more water had pooled on the floor, our repairs were delayed by 3 more days. Tom, the owner of the company, says its not possible his employee failed to turn it off properly and it was a faulty valve, even though my husband was able to turn it all the way off when he went in on the 29th.

Tom was rude and unwilling to accept that his employee, who was clearly under the influence, could have caused these damages even after the drug use was brought to his attention.

When my husband called to speak to someone, the gentleman who has come on the first day made statements to him about having to be drug tested because of "your wife's little suspicions".

Our insurance is covering all of it, but i would NEVER allow these people back in my home. I have no idea how they justify not taking responsibility when they were the last people to touch the valve, they removed the toilet, its their job to make sure the valve is off.

If the last person to use your bathroom was a five year old kid and you come in an hour later to the sink still on, whose fault would you say that is? A normal person would blame the kid. Or in this case the high tech.
