Misleading information, nondelivery of goods, and refusal of refund

I am so sorry that I ever set foot in this place. I ordered a bedroom set and chair, custom made, and paid for everything upfront. I was told that it all would be ready within a week. I was moving into a new apartment, so this was great news.

However, after being in the new apartment for over 1 month, I still had no furniture. Even worse, they said they had no idea when it would come in. I began calling the owner of the company and asking for my money back. Eventually, the owner's assistant stopped answering my calls outright (unless I surprised them by calling from a different phone number, which I had to do a couple of times).

After 2 months of no answers, I demanded a full refund. They refused, and advised me to contest the charge with my credit card company. You read that right: The company itself told me to contest the charge on my credit card. That is how little they cared about dealing with me anymore.

Two months after that (a total of 4 months since my original order), they called me out of nowhere and told me that my custom made chair was finally ready, and explained that it took so long because they lost all of their financiers (I certainly would have liked to have known this before!)

Anyway, they told me I could still have the chair if I wanted it, provided that I pay entirely in cash. Umm... No thanks.

I will never deal with this place again. Ever.
