First american home buyers protection plan, total rip off, its been a month that my fridge broke down and after spending hours on phone my problem hasnt been solved

I am a resident of troy michigan and i am paying first american home buyers protection for the last 3 years. I have two little kids. My refrigerator broke down on august 30th. I filed a claim instantly. Since that day i am talking to the company for almost hours on phone each day.

First i was told it will be repaired, the serviceman came and told me it will more likely be replaced. After 3 or 4 days when i called again i was told it will be repaired, the serviceman again came not to repair but to waste my one more week as he had to order the part.By then i got sick of it, i talked to the supervisor who offered me a cash out plan. I was told i will be reimbursed 611 dollars towards the purchase of my new fridge and 150$in temporary relief. Each day i call in again. A new person speaks to me. Asks the whole story from A to z and says your claim has been approved for cash out and you will be given the money and when i call next day they dont know anything about it.

I am frustrated to a point that i cannot describe it. You can imagine living without a refrigerator with little kids. I had to go and buy a back up fridge for survival. I wouldnot recommend this service to any fellow citizen. Its just a means to rip you off your money and they ditch you when you are counting on them the most. Donot waste your money on this company. If you have bought their protection plan get it cancelled b/c take my word when you will need the help you wont find it.

Its been 29th day of making several calls each day and hearing the same nonsense again and again and the people sitting there seem to be impervious to your problem. I am truly deeply disappointed and need help with this problem and also wanted to warn others that its the worst service i have come across in my lifetime so beware.
