After Katrina we had to have out roof replaced and decided to go with a local company instead of the flood of contractors coming into Louisiana to make quick money and rip off innocent victims.

We chose Fleur de Lis Roofing Company in Metairie, owner Billy Wright and thought we had made the right decision.

The roof was put on and in the process his workers damaged my gutters and we contacted him to inform him of this. This time instead of a nice gentleman we were talked to rudely and even cursed. Three months later our worst nightmare started, we had our first roof leak. The leaks kept coming and was a million times worst than the damage from Katrina. We had water pouring into our fireplace and the outside walls surrounding the fireplace mildewed from water damage. We contacted him again and he let me know he was not coming to repair anything.

After a while we decided to go to the television station 6 on your side and see if they could get him to repair his poor workmanship. Well, Mr Wright did not want to see me on TV reviewing his business so he complied and repaired the leaks and stated he would be back to put new gutters on our home in 1 week. Well 2 weeks later no Billy Wright, when I called he stated he had no intention of putting new gutters on my home and once again was the rude man I spoke to prior to my report to the news station.

Now low and behold we have another leak and there is no way I am going to call this man again. We gave up on the gutters for now, but I do not plan on letting Mr Wright get off so easy. He has a ad in the yellow pages in Louisiana where we live and I just gave him his first review. Some of you may want to check it out for yourself.

We have found another avenue to make this man accountable and everything is in the works. I firmly believe he will not be doing business, at least roofing business in Louisiana soon. The best part he also puts new gutters on peoples homes, but he couldn't or I should say wouldn't replace mine. I was not the only person victimized by this man, but the end of his business practices are coming to an end soon.

I am sure he thinks he is going to get all kinds of work from Hurricane Gustav, but I doubt if that's going to happen.
