Almost caused home to burn. Twice!

We purchased a doublewide in late "96 and had trouble with Oakwood from the start. Put in on land that was in flood zone and wasn't perked. We didn't know all that of course. After we moved in, they came and told us it wasn't legal and we would have to move to the next lot, long story shorter, we got a lawyer and settled for more acreage.

We had nowhere to stay at the time so they said they would put us in a motel room. We stayed in 1 room for 6 six weeks, thinking they were paying for it and they did, but then added it back in. Then when they put the central unit in (where we are now) they turned the heat on and left it and when i came to check on it. The front door was actually warm to the touch and it candles had melted inside and ran down.

Other stuff had to be fixed, but the main reason i am writing this is because last week., we had to actually have the meter box (big long metal one on electicial pole) replaced at cost of over $1000. Not happy about that. They power men said it was a wonder the place had not BURNED DOWN, because of the way it had been wired up!

We bought ours in Cookeville, TN, but they have since moved. WE would LOVE to sue the pants off them. Because they almost caused the place to burn TWICE. We have copies and people who will testify if needed.
