Target Brand American Simplicity Brand Dinnerware Unknown metal in plate from China, Burns from plates too hot to handle

I have following amount of each dinnerware of the American Simplicity Dinnerware made for Target by Table Tops Unlimited.

4 Big Round in Brown
4 Big Round in Terquoise
4 Square in Brown
4 Square in Terquoise
4 Bowls in Brown
4 Bowls in Terquoise

I have also have pictures showing the before and After using an infrared thermometer. Before the plate was placed in the microwave it was room temperature 84.8 degrees after 60 seconds in the microwave that same plate was 168.6 degrees. Well above the temperature to cause a bad burn. According to the red cross website
It would only take 3 seconds to create a 2nd degree burn at 140 degrees fahrenheit and 5 seconds for a 3rd degree burn. The temperature of the plates after only 60 seconds is 28.6 degrees higher than that of the chart!

We have had numerous burns from these plates! There is no reason that a plate marked "microwave safe" should cause burns. It should stay cool to the touch after only 60 seconds in the microwave let alone 2-3 minutes. The only reason this should happen would be if there is metal (lead) in the paint or plate itself. Another "QUALITY" product from china!!!
