What a scam!

I was interested in selling my timeshare, since I personally have not had time to use it. I when the company called they informed that they wanted to get the information on my timeshare through Shell Vacation. I informed that I would be unable to front the $899, since I have just started teaching.
I said I could always take a loan from the bank, but personally I trying to get out of debt, so I told the agent that I would need to wait until I got paid. When the agent called me back two days later he said he could get everything processed for $499 and when they sold my points I would pay them the remaining $400.
It all sounded good, and they took my money. I never sent a contract, or ever called back. I am looking to see what I can do to get me money. I feel so stupid, for letting this happen to me.
