No care for employees

I have read the reports on Rip-off and none of them surprise me really. I think as bad as the customers have been treated, or even worse, is the way they treat their employees. Americas Home Place lures you in with promises of what you will make and how much money the company has and then once you are hired you soon realize it is all a lie. They never give raises of any kind. While the guys at the top of the ladder make obscene amounts of money they pay their Building Consultants nothing unless they sell a house. It is not uncommon for these folks to go months without making anything and then the company moves them on and brings someone else in. They treat the G.M.'s great at first until you disagreee with them or try to get a situation worked out that has gone wrong. If you don't "drink the kool-aid" then consider your self warned. They will let you go and never think twice about it.

I would warn any future potential employees to reconsider before accepting any position with this company. Better yet ask them what is their turn over rate. I promise you it is unbelievable. Make them offer you a contract before you go to work for them otherwise you will find yourself discarded once you disagree with anyone, unless you are in the B.C. Position in that case you will starve before they let you go.
