Faulty Merchandise

I ordered 2 log futons from Mission Mattress, along with covers. I paid 1,199.98 for the futons alone, and another 320.00 for the covers. It has been over a month, I have finally received the futons, but no covers. The ends of the futons have been smashed.

This has been reported, the company is passing the blame to the manufacturer (which is Big Tree Big Sleep) however, the company claims that Mission Mattress has not placed any order for new parts. Mission Mattress tells me the futons are usable so to use them and when they place a new order for more furniture, THEN they will order the replacement parts for my furniture. This is unacceptable to me, since I have paid for these items in full, long ago.

Also, I have yet to receive my covers, they tell me each week that these are on back order, with different dates as to when they should be in. I would advise anyone thinking of doing business with this company to proceed with caution. They charge a 25% restock charge to cancel orders (most of their sales are special order). They force second rate products on customers then pass the blame to their manufacturers.
