Writing bad check under assumed name

Jamal Baldwin called to have his home detail cleaned. My co-worker and I worked for 5 hours cleaning and doing laundry. When we were finished he wrote me a check for $175.00. I didn't look at the check right away but he had written the check on an account with Navy Federal. He was using the name Amahad Anthony. Of course when I contacted him he said he was on his way to the bank to get it straight and he would call back in 30 min. I heard nothing else from him. I called again he said he had never hear of my company and had not had his house cleaned.
