Dispicable Business Practices

We purchased a Rainsoft Water System, tried to cancel within the 3 day period allowed BY Law but they refused to remove the system, refused to honor their promises and Home Depot should be ashamed to do business with such a disreputable bunch of liars.

The rep showed up 2 hours late, stayed past 1:00 am, said she had to stop at a fire station to ask directions, (there aren't any near us), LIE.
IN HOUSE financing, LIE.
Lifetime warranty, at no cost to us (no deductibles, service call fees, inspections or fees for inspections), LIE.
3 Day cancellation option, (they installed it on a sunday, said they couldn't remove it w/o charging us for installation). LIE.
No Maintenance required (except for salt), LIE.

There's another complaint posted (June) whose story is almost identical to ours.

Complaints lodged with BBS, Consumer Affairs, Home Depot resulted in NO HELP.

We paid it off before the 6 month deferment period ($9,008.00) cash and Aqua Finance still billed us for 3 more months ($26.00,17.00,9.00).

The water system is good, we had really crappy water and our previous system ($1,000) did not do as good a job. The quality of the system is the only reason that we didn't pursue the matter further. We chalked it up to trusting a company (Rainsoft) which we thought was reputable.

Would we ever deal with them again? Not NO, but Hell NO, No Way, Uh uh, Not on your life...

If Rainsoft (A&B Marketing) pulls up in your driveway, Run Far Fast... Check out Clear Water Systems and all the others for the best price and service record; check with the BBS, etc. And as Ken Amaro, Judge Judy and others say, Get it in writing!!!
