First, I want to say, I'm usually a very cautious person. However, when I received an e-mail from the Prize Reward Center, I found the items they wanted me to "try out" were basically inexpensive and I could actually use them.

On the site, I read everything very carefully. The company even explained that it might take them four weeks to process my claim because they had to "wait for confirmation" from the companies on their program.

I did the actual process with Prize Reward Center on May 3. I even sent them a letter telling them I had done as they requested, but for some reason I could NOT get past their free offers to finish the process. I never heard anything back from the cmpany and now it's been almost two (2) months and I still don't have the promised washer and dryer.

I called the State Attorney's office in Tallahassee, Florida. The person who anwered the phone said, unless there were a lot of people complaining, the state could not get involved. It would cost too much money. However, I could call a toll free number (1-866-966-7226) to file a complaint. I tried the number. I live in North Carolina. Appartentlu the number is only good inside Florida.

I tracked down the company. They have an address that is with UPS. UPS is protecting their idenity, even though the clerk who answered the phone was informed, by me, that this could possibly be considered fraud.

I know some of the fault lies with me. I also know the company should be held liable for the false claims they make. However, UPS needs to change their orientation. UPS should not be protecting companies who prey on consumers.

If anyone reads this and has had the same thing happen to them, please let me know by filing a rebuttal or futher information to this report. If I can find enough people, whether it was a washer and dryer or something else, that have been preyed upon by this company or others like it, I may be able to get the State Attorney's Office in Florida to make this company either give what they promise or give people back all the money they have spent following their instructions.
