Sell Bad Furniture and Calls It Good Furniture Thats On Sale

About two years ago my husband and I bought a solid cherry wood sleigh bed from furniture factory. Everything looked fine and it slept good for the two years.

Then suddenly one night as we were crawling into bed the frame of the bed on the right side just clean snapped into two peices making the bed basically collapse putting a couple of dents into our headboard as well as putting me onto the floor.

My husband weight about 150 pounds and I weight about 135. There is no way that we are the reason it snapped. And there is no way that a perfectly good solid wood frame just snaps like that. The frame had to have been broke before and they just "fixed" it because the cut was so clean you could tell.

When we bought the bed the salesman never told us of the previous damage to the bed so nick went to talk to him about getting another frame for free because it shouldn't have broke like that after only two years.

The saleman said that since we didnt' have a warrenty they couldn't... Fine, my husband asked if we could buy the frame... That don't carry that bed anymore... If they can order it... They told him no... If they could tell him what company makes the bed so that he could look them up himself... Agian they said no...

Finally he asked what COULD they do for him... They said all they could do was sell us a medal frame that would fit the bed. Know imagine this with me, a really nice wooden bed with metal frames... NO THANKS.

So right now me and my husband are sleeping on the floor with our bed in a pile in the corner of our room. We won't be going there agian for a new bed.
