IN UTAH Horrific Service, Fake Ads, Slow, Awful Sales Process, terrible Customer Service and Sales Reps!

Our family saw their ad here in Davis County, Utah in the paper stating "GRAND OPENING" in Layton, Utah. *IT'S A COMPLETE FAKE! *.

We later found out they have been running this ad now for months and it's BS. We did infact go to buy 2 ON SALE ITEM BEDS, a sale which laster for a whoel whopping 6 hours! Upon our arrival we had to search the entire store to find the beds, which were hidden in a corner (Yes, nobody cared to ask if we needed help). We went to the cashier to pay and she said we had to have a "Sales Rep" help us write it up. So, we waited for another 10 minutes for a lazy guy to show up. He then asked me to sit down and questioned if needed more stuff and firniture. We said no and we just wanted the beds.
He seemed upset at this and acted careless and rude. He then had to check the PC, after which they said "we don't have it in stock".

Why would you have a hot Sales Item for sale in the paper on and not in stock???!! He then said it would take 2 1/2 weeks to get the items from the factory. We also declined the $69 DELIVERY CHARGE/Set up charge so we could pick it up ourselves 10 miles away. We said ok and we quickly left the store.

2 1/2 weeks later we went to the ASHLEY FURNITURE WAREHOUSE in Salt Lake City, after having called them 2 times to confirm the items were there.

A highly unhelpful lady at the front desk told us to hold on to our slip and then "someone would yell our name outside in the parking lot when we could
pull up our truck to get the 2 boxes". We waited and waited with 12 other cars with their windows rolled down in 19 degree freezing temps.

After 1 hour and 20 minutes someone yelled and we were able to get the items. THEY HAD ONE RAMP FOR CUSTOMERS, while the 15 Ashley trucks had pulled in many times to get items to deliver!!!

These guys really suck bad and it's a BAD SCHEME where they feed on big bald letter ads and delivery charges. I urge you NOT TO BUY FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE HOMESTORE, EVER! Save yourself the scam and go to a decent mom and pop shop or even RC Willeys!
