Dishonest business from hell victimized many consumers ripped off and scammed

I urge you to do not shop Dylan Homes in Lisbon, Ohio. They are ripoffs! They make promises and do not keep them, and are true salesmen— liars and cheats. I believe they really have no idea what they are trying to sell and hustle you into making quick decisions.

The first time we looked at our home was in Feb and after 4 months of waiting signed our closing with the bank on July 5. They told us after we signed our home would be ready to move into in approximately 2 weeks.

Construction on our home finally began in August and after many many more delays, finally they were done. We moved in September 1st. Then there were water leaks, and the hot water tank did not work. There was a hole in the wall that was not there when we looked at the home and a hole in the bathroom floor for the water line to come through that was about 8 inches wide. The insulation under the home was to be replaced and was not.

In the end they owed us 300.00 and I believe they had no intention of paying us. Every other day it seemed I was calling them for a check. And every other day it was a new excuse.

I know they figured I would give up but that was my money not theirs!!!

When I told them I was going to contact an attorney they just laughed. Then I had a new idea. I was going to put a sign in my front yard— to advertise so to speak — for them. Do not buy from dylan homes. Upon telling them this they must have started to think because the next day I had a check in my hand. The best part is I still have every intention of advertising that sign in my yard. And writing a letter to my editor.

If they would have thought about customer service when all this was happening none of it would have happened. All I wanted was my 300.00 I am sure they will lose more business than 300.00 from being stupid and trying to rip me off. Please think again before buying from Dylan Homes!
