Florida Foamseal, A To Z Roofing
Refused to perform FoamSeal service at agreed contract price. Tried to increase the price by thousands of dollars the day before work was to begin

On June 26 I had a contract signed by Florida Foamseal to spray Foamseal to fortifiy the underside of my roofing system for add'l hurricane protection as suggested by the State of Florida My Safe Florida Homes program. Under the contract terms they were also to spray Koolseal foam insultaion to insulate the underside of my roofing system. The contract price for this work was $6500. The work was scheduled to be done on August 9.
Amazingly, on August 8 I received a phone call from Florida Foamseal where they told me they were not going to do the work the next day unless I agreed to pay an additional $2000 dollars. They said they had made an error in their contract price to me - well, the work should have been performed at the agreed upon contract price as stipulated in their proposal.
No offer to complete the work as aggreed. No follow up phone calls - just a passing in the night attempt to get a lot more money which left me feeling Foamseal was a dishonest company trying to take advantage of customers.
