Lowe's
Credit card refusal unless driver's license is produced

Lowe's refused to accept Mastercard unless driver's license was produced. I contacted Mastercard and was informed that this was a violation of the merchant's agreement and merchants cannot require identification if card is signed. Returned a copy of this to Lowe's and card was still refused unless driver's license was produced. Have filed formal complaint w/Mastercard and also with Lowe's headquarters in NC.
