Fraud, Not doing rehab as promised and then taking the money and rehabing their own property!

Steve and Mecca Brown knowingly sold properties to be rehabbed for more than they were worth; took rehab money and kept it and left the project incomplete and therefore uninhabitable and unrentable. Refused to refund any unspent money and refused to give copies of expenses.

Steve and Mecca laugh at out of state investors because "the california investor will never know" what's going on.

Steve and Mecca have absolutely no conscience and feel they are entitled to rip people off. Steve and Mecca rely heavily on the fact that they are in a "buyer beware" state and use that as an excuse for everything that goes wrong. They really don't care about anyone except themselves. They have no interest in protecting their reputation. They just don't care! Fraud is fine with them.

I wonder how long that attitude will continue when the FBI gets a hold of them?
