AKA Garrettt Harwood Scammers - Radiant Barrier Doesn't Work as Described - No No Money Back Guarantee as Promised Before Purchase - Installation Doesn't Meet Standards Ripoff

The product, radiant barrier, made the inside of my home hotter than before it was installed. The installer did a lousy job that is not acceptable by any standards and he deliberately shorted me on material.

He removed existing insulation from heating/air ducts and tore insulation off of a skylight leaving exposed sheet rock. A radiant barrier should cover the entire attic floor which means that it must be taped or overlapped to hide exposed insulation and wood.

The installer cut it into short pieces that are loosely laid on top of the insulation with every single edge exposed. None of the seams were taped and there is no overlapping. All edges are exposed which does not conform to the industry standard. How can it reflect the heat and keep it out of the insulation when the insulation is not entirely covered?

Less material was used than was indicated on the work order and I believe the installer deliberately shorted me in order to commit theft. The required amount of material was obviously not used, as demonstrated by the failure to overlap the edges and hide the exposed beams and batting.

I found this company on the Service Magic web site and they tried to contact this company, but to no avail.By the way, Service Magic doesn't publish all of the customer reviews - only those that were resolved. This may lead to a false sense of security when choosing a contractor. They refuse to post my review because it has not been resolved.
