Ripoff Violated our contract Took $7,700 and then abandoned the job Damaged my property

I had hired Albert Young, owner of Young Roofing/MYCO Investments, Inc./MYCO Construction/MYCO Landscaping, to do a major landscape project back in April. He had violated our contract & took a total of $7,700 before abandoning the job. Mr. Young & his crew never worked on time, were absent on 3 occassions (once for 2 days, another for over a week & the last time was for over 2 weeks). I have complained to Albert & his assistant, Robert Blevin, about these issues again & again; but the problems continued. Because of these, they have failed to complete the job on time. Around the beginning of May Albert Young had told me that he had too many jobs but not enough workers. He asked me to delay my project so that he could catch up on his other jobs & in addition he would also save money in the process.

By then I had already given him $2,700 so I told him that he must first finish the jobs he had already started. He didn't comply. Few days later I called & asked him to come back & finish my project. Again he asked me to wait until the end of May. They returned to work on June 8 but only for an hour in the morning & an hour in the afternoon. The following day 1 person worked in the afternoon. On June 11, he collected $5,000 more.By this time he had not completed any part of the project. He promised that on June 12 he would have all his men working on my landscape & they would finish it in 3-4 days. They never showed again. After receiving a complaint from the BBB, he came by only to tell me that he no longer wants to do the job; However, if I release him from our contract & all liabilities, he would consider completing the project. I rejected his offer & asked him to fix the damages he caused to my property & give me back the $7,700. He refused.
