Ripoff Terrible product horrible service

I purchased a portable room air conditioner from Sears for our daughter's room in April; During my first use water leaked all over the floor. When I contacted the customer service department I spoke to Charlie who told me his "girl" was out to lunch and that my "best bet" was to file a complaint on their website! When I asked him what his position there was he told me he was the service manager!!! He also told me "there was supposed to be a plug there but it must have gotten lost". What kind of moron makes a comment like that? Can you believe that! A service manager?!? Everytime you do get to talk to someone and try to call them back that person doesn't work there anymore - can you blame them? They probably run like hell when the realize how crappy of a compnay they work for.
It has been 7 days since I filed my complaint at Royal Sovereign's website and still no response. I guess the "girl" is taking a longer lunch than expected - lol
I called again today and the person who answered the phone did not speak English and just kept saying "call back and talk to Charlie". Way to go Royal Sovereign. I paid almost $900.00 for this piece of junk and your warranty is no good - I will NEVER purchase another product with Royal Sovereign's name on it and suggest everyone heed my warning and not buy this companies products. A side note; I still have not received the plug that Charlie told me he would send me almost 3 weeks ago... What a "manager" he is - the owner of this company must be so proud of his efforts to keep customers satisfied. Shame on Royal Sovereign
