Crooks, liars, thiefs beware of these cheats

Do not ever under any circumstances buy a house from First Texas Homes, Or Gallery Homes. Gallery Custom Homes is their "upscale" version. I bought one of these upscale homes for nearly $300K!

My house has been a problem since day one. I have fought for nearly two years with everyone from the bottom to the top. The favorite game is duck and cover. Duck the questions and cover their a*es.

Structural defects, framing defects, flooring defects, grade defects, we have them all. Not to mention many many smaller issues like cracked sheetrock, interior stain used on exterior carriage doors, no caulking around windows, bathtubs and tile work.

The mint doesn't print enough money to convince me to ever purchase another home from these crooks.

Incidentally, it took roughly 12k in legal fees and special inspectors to get these folks to do the right thing. Guess what? We are still going round and round without resolution on structural issue and carriage doors.

RUN RUN RUN never give them a cent, and if you have earnest money down, run anyway! It will be worth losing your earnest money, in the long run. I wish I had.
