McCowen com. Gave me the wrong air conditione

I called McCowen for an Air Conditioning and heater. They sent a sales person to give me a quote. I choose a 14 seer and one that would clean the air. I had the company install the product.

About four months later a Service person came to change the filter. I paid him for the filter. He also was to tell the company that I needed a new filter every three months. I have pets. He said he would bring the correct filter the next day. He never came back.

His name was Michael so when I called several months later I asked for him. He no longer worked at this company.

I heard a strange noise in the air conditioner out side. I called the company to send a service person. He cane and checked it out and did not have the correct filter. He put one in but not the correct one. He was to return the next day with the correct filter. He never came back. I recieved a letter that said I would have to pay for the next cleaning and service.

The service person did not clean the air conditioning. He looked at the pump outside and everything was fine. I was supposed to get the first cleaning free as it states in my contract.

A year after I had the air conditioning installed I recieved a check and a letter fron McCowen stating that the company had installed a 12 seer.

I called the company to find out what happened. I was told the space where they installed the Air conditioning was too small for a 14 seer. I am just learning about this a year later. Also no air cleaning systen.

I called the company to ask why was I not told of this. There were other places that I could install the air conditioner.

They are not allowed to come to my house. I reported the company to the better business bureau. I do not know what the outcome was. Every one of the people that came to my house no longer work for the company. Too much turnover in the company doesn't make the commpany a good place to work.
