Ripoff Dishonest Carpenter Faulty Workmanship No Insurance

Carpenter built my house, didnt put ANY caulking around the windows, house was typar'd and rain leaked around all the windows, ruining 4k hardwood floor, inside insulation, window trim etc.

He refused to go in and look at the damage, said the sun had worn out the caulking and that wasnt his fault.

Got opinions from four other contractors, called the home hardware store where bought the caulk, called the customer service of the caulk company. All of whome said the contractor was at fault.

Went one step further and took an entire window out only to find ZERO caulking under the window.

I would not do any business with this guy or his family.
