Ripoff got screwed from the get go

My husband and I put $60,000 down on "the house of our dreams". What has happened since they got our money, no one should have to go through. The week after we put our money down on the house, I was taking a friend to see the house on the lot like the one we chose. They were closing the location and moving all the houses to other locations. We were never told this was going to take place.

We ordered our home in June. We were told it would take 6 weeks to build and deliver to our location.in October we received our home. We ordered "Stucco finish" on the outside of our house. When we received it is had a wood grain look. We have never got all the cracks from the delivery fixed. One of my cabinets in the kitchen had damage from the factory that they told me would be replaced. Never has happened.

The skirting around the trailer has several pieces that have blown off and ripped because is wasn't installed correctly. The shingles on my roof have blown off is spots where they were replaced from the delivery. No tar paper was used, only nailed down, so they have disappeared.

All the bathtubs have cracked, mainly around the drain.in the master bath, they did change ours out, but the one they replaced it with it cracking out also.

Our air conditioner has ruined our floor in the laundry room, kitchen, pantry and #3 bathroom. We have a 5 ton outside unit, which is what we ordered. The coil inside the house is for a 4 ton outside unit.

When we first got the house and the guys were there working on it, they had taken the chain off my screen door. They never put it back on. It was a soild glass door. Later that evening my son was coming out the door when a gust of wind (we live in the Texas panhandle) grab the door and slammed it into the house, shattering the glass. Thank goodness my son was not harmed, but my door was destroyed. I called the repair 800# to let them know. They assured me they would replace the door. I still have no screen door.

There are so many things that have gone wrong with our "dream home"... It more like a nightmare that we wake up in every day.
