On 9-2 I purchased $6904.55 of furniture from salesman James Sharpe. All of the furniture delivered according to the driver had manufacturers defect of some kind. I told them I did not pay for junk and did not want to accept delivery. The driver then told me his boss (Mike) said if I did not accept it there would be a 40% restocking fee.

I called James at the showroom and he said he would correct the problem. After opening up the china hutch we noticed a mold & mildew smell in it. Then the glass shelves came crashing down to the floor since they were cut to short for the unit and my wifes $4000.00 figurines were broken.

I called James and he assured me all I had to do was air it out and he was sorry about the figurines. I also noted to him my computer armoire was missing cork boards which went on the doors. He said he would order them. Two months went by and the china hutch still smelled. I called customer service and they said my wife and I could go to the store and pick a new unit since ours was discontinued.

I went down to the store and found out James was promoted and no longer there. I spoke to the new salesman Sam and he said he knew nothing about us picking out a new unit. I asked him to print my invoice #202092 and after he did I showed him where it stated I should pick out a new unit. This was approx. 1-24. He said let me try to locate another unit like yours and I asked him what happened to my cork boards and he told me he knew nothing about it but would be happy to look into it. It is now 8 months later May 15 and I still do not have the problem rectified.

I do not understand why it takes 8 months to get something replaced. Sims gladly took my money for the junk they call furniture, and then all you get is lies and the run around to get a replacement of good quality. That on top of the fact I lost $4000.00 worth of figurines due to the junk they sell.
