Inexperienced Incompetent inspectors, Will Miss A Lot Of Problems ripoff

I paid this company over 300 dollars to inspect my first home. They only caught the obvious problems, leaky basment etc. They did not figure out that the back gutter spouting was improperly affixed to the house, even though we went to the back and looked at the house from a distance, one could see it sagging. I should of caught it but I was getting fed up with the process of owning my own home. Every home in my price range had drawers, cabinets, and closet bars missing. This one did not and it came with two appliances. Besides this is the first home I had a chance to own I didnt know what to check for.

Because the gutter spouting wasnt affixed properly I had to spend 4000 dollars to rip down the back wall and rebuild it and then anchor the gutter properly. Someone before me knew it was like this as there were multiple holes where someone had tried to anchor it before.

They also missed a very obvious point namely that the electrical fuse box had two double taps and was overloaded. They told me to buy two new fuses and set them in. However, when I went to fix the basement water problem (another 7 grand) they found that I would need an entire new electrical service installed as the fuse box was over loaded already. The fusebox cover was off when Hometeam looked at it, it should of been easy to spot. Another 1100 dollars.

They also never bothered to check under the bathroom's piping they wouldve noticed another major water leak. Very Incompetent.

I tried to pursue legal action but the lawyer told me it wasnt worth the time and effort as it wouldve taken too much time and too much money (on my side) to force them to reimburse me for their ignorance. Although I am partly to blame.

I was surprised by the extent of their company's website because after all of this had happened I figured they were a low-down, fly-by-night operation.

The woman who sold me this property is a relative, how messed up is that?
