Top Relocation Services ripoff, sham artists, BROKERS not movers, shoddy service, We refused contract - they won't return deposit Ripoff

Our next door neighbors hired Top Relocation Services to perform their move from New Orleans to Dallas. The day before our neighbor's move, we called Top Relocation to set up our move. On the day of our neighbors' move, the service was SO POOR that we immediately called Top Relocation Services back and told them that we would not be signing any contracts and would not use them to move. They promised us that we would not be charged our deposit ($700 bucks).

(The are a BROKER only and hire Joe Schmoe and his rented U-Haul to move you. If Mr. Schmoe shows up two days late and throws all your stuff into trash bags and breaks your TV, that's your problem - Top Relocation will DO NOTHING ABOUT IT. Read my neighbors' account below...)

So... The next day the charge shows up on our credit card. We call again. This time, WE have to fax them a written statement stating that we have no desire to enter into a contract with them (which we already did by NOT SIGNING the contract in the first place). We fax the letter...

35 DAYS LATER, after calling and leaving messages on a bi-weekly basis, Top Relocation tells us that we have been approved for a refund and that it will be another week before the refund will take place.

42 DAYS LATER, we turned them into our credit card company, faxed all our notes on our conversations with them and the credit card company refunded us our money.

DO NOT USE TOP RELOCATION SERVICES EVER. They have shoddy customer services and contract with even worse 'movers'.
