Defective product, class action suit won in court, still a ripoff company

A local plumber furnished and installed a Ruud Hot Water Heater
in the house I built for my mom 1995. I have recently discovered
the dip tube was defective causing the plumbing to be completely
filled with sediment.

I discovered there was a class action suit (I was never notified by either the plumber or, now defunct, Ruud) which allowed replacement of labor and materials for this situation.

The suit allowed reimbursement up to december.

I missed the date by 1 year and have had to replace the HWH on my
own as well as the dishwasher and some othe minor filters.
Rheem, or someone, has caused me considerable expense, I feel
should have been compensated for in some way. I personally will
never use Rheem for any heating applications and will continue
to tell of my experience as long as anyone is interested.
