Daniel Evans Partial shotty work, constant no show, left mess, ended with threats to me

I entered into a barter agreement with Daniel Evans to build out my fence and add a deck. He rushed the start date and only showed up for one hour of work for what he estimated to be a one day job. He left a mess everywhere including his tools and continued to lie about coming over and no-showed day after day without a phone call. Made one more re-appearance after dark and did one more hour of work.

Finally after more days of no-shows, I asked him to come and get his tools and told him I would find someone else. This resulted in threatening phone calls and emails from him and his wife in which he still did not come and get his tools during pouring rain (they were outside, I have no cover) and then threatened he would charge me for his tools. He finally has picked up his tools although his tall ladder is STILL in my back yard and now he files REPORTS agains me? To make it worse the new company I hired has to take down his work because it is not structurally stable so I have to pay for work and materials again. Definately ask to see his business license. I'd be surprised if he has one.
