Ripoff Did not clean house, broke items, Insulted us and will not fix items

I broke both my legs last year and was unable to clean for a long time. We needed a deep whole house cleaning. We hired a house cleaner choosing the highest priced option for $410.00 to do a deep cleaning. They did not come here before giving an estimate and did not give it to us in writing. They were overheard by my husband making rude comments and ewww sounds when cleaning.

When they were leaving my husband was very uncomfortable and asked if all that was agreed upon was done. They said yes, the owner left and a worker took the check and gave us an unsigned proposal/receipt that said FULL PACKAGE.

When I got home I discovered that they did not even do a general cleaning such as dusting and vacuuming which is advertised on their website with a 100% satisfaction guarantee. I took 60 photos of what was not done and called the cleaner.

He emailed us saying that we left "paraphernalia all over our home and that was unprofessional and that the home looked as if it was not cleaned in months and basically they were disgusted.

My husband and I responded and I requested a refund in the amount of $200.00 for work not done (before I saw the damage done to our kitchen floor and sub floor). And let him know his claims of paraphernailia is completely ridiculous. He never said what it was but I did leave some birth control pills out on my desk... But it is completely irrelavant to my claims anyway as is the condition he felt my home was in.

He did not respond to me but responded to my husband who asked why they did not leave if there was paraphernalia everywhere and they were so offended by our home. He wrote back saying (even though he and his manager were there) that if he had known before they already left he would have.in addition he told us to hide our paraphernalia before inviting strangers into our home and reiterated how disgusting he found our home.

I filed a report with the Better Business Bureau and Attorney General's Office. He then sent me an email saying that he would not respond nor does he care about the BBB. He said we should have to pay them $210.00 to just put up w / our unsanitary home and that we will get nothing.

He then proceeded to tell us that it took 2 people one hour to clean our refrigerator and that the things I pointed out would take 15 minutes and he would give us $20 or take him to small claims court.

He also said if I was concerned about how they would do cleaning the house that I should have been there instead of working. I am shocked by his ridiculous accusations, offended by the way he described the condition of our home and found all his emails to be conflicting.

This man is rude, they do a terrible job, they are insulting. I now have to spend even more time and money chasing him for the refund he knows he owes us. No one would react to a customer that way unless they knew they did not do a good job. He could have simply returned my call and said no refunds or let us come back, or whatever a normal business owner would do. I own a business myself and would never insult, threaten or attack a customer like he has.

Beware of Xtremeclean, especially if your home actually needs a cleaning. They don't like that.
