Defective merchandise company admits others have complained Ripoff

In March, we purchased a Martha Stewart outdoor bar set from Kmart manufactured by Numark. We left it outside, but covered, for the following winter. When we uncovered it in June, there was extensive rust. When we contacted Numark, Shaun, who is in charge of warrenties told us that she had received other complaints on rust. Although out warrenty was up, she would see what she could do. I sent her pictures, which I can send you.

After a month, she sent us a $25.00 gift certificate for Kmart. She said this was the best she could do due to the warrenty's date. Who checks patio furniture in the winter? $25.00 for my rusted set is laughable and an insult. Please help me.
