Ripoff warranty scam

To all who think they are getting warranty work from Dallas North Sprinklers, BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!!! I have copied a final payment letter found below to them to close this issue.

I have given up trying to explain anything to these people and I find I am better off paying the bill rather than risk a judgement on my credit for 75.00. I wonder how many other people they scam this way when business is slow.

To Whom it may concern;

Please accept this payment for 75.00 as payment to invoice # 607P and close this issue completely. Please also be advised that I will no longer use Dallas North Sprinklers for any services to my irrigation system due to the unpleasant experience in which this invoice was rendered.

At the beginning of my problem I had called Dallas North for advice on where to purchase parts for my irrigation system. The woman on the phone told me I could purchase Hunter Sprinkler parts at a store in Marietta. However after further inquiry as to why my irrigation system needed service, I was told that my system was still covered under a 1-year warranty that was still in force. After explaining the problem that 2 nozzles had blown out and disappeared, I was told that this was a warranty issue and someone may be in the neighborhood to address the problem. I neither asked for, nor authorized the above invoiced $75.00 service call.

Upon arrival at my home your technician obviously traded words with my wife, who knows nothing of this system, which from your technician's opinion became a service call and thus charged me for work that I did not authorize. I still stand on the words of my wife that she only asked your technician how she could adjust the sprinklers so it would stop killing her flowers. Your technician was kind enough to show her how to replace and adjust the nozzles so she would know how to adjust them in the future.

Since your technician neither warned my wife or myself of the cost of his work rendered under the supposed warranty, I feel that we were scammed, taken advantage of, and unfairly treated under this supposed warranty offered by the Dallas North office.

Please take this payment and end this situation immediately as the only time you will here from us, or anyone else that I know in this neighborhood with your irrigation system, will be under warranty conditions and no further business or service will be sought from Dallas North Sprinklers thereafter.
