Ripoff Employee stole from my home, no compensation

I purchased beds for my children from Ashley Furniture in March. There was a great delay between the time it was ordered and delivery, but that is not the reason for this report. The problem comes as a result of the delivery.

Three employees of Ashley Furniture delivered the beds in April. While I was watching my children, one of the employees stole my wife's wedding ring from our bedroom. Not only was it an emotional loss for my wife, but an irreparable financial one as well. We are not able to afford to replace the ring.

We have patiently waited for the police to conduct their investigation without becoming directly involved with the company, per the wishes of the police. The company made no effort to contact us.in the last week of June we did finally contact Ashley Furniture. We have been told that they will not provide any reimbursement for our loss.

It has been made clear that this company will disclaim any responsibility for the actions of its representatives.
