Mexican slave labor, now a great place to work after consumer complaints was filed!

As a former employee of Moon Valley, I can assure you that complaint and other such forums do an excellent job of providing useful feed back to keep companies "in line". Last year a rip off report was filed accusing Moon Valley of "mexican slave labor". Once the company viewed the report, they did the right thing...

Moon Valley Nursery double checked all of it's current employees information and pay status. They even had the labor board check its documents and policies. Everything was in good order and no violations were found. The rip off report that was filed was actually an attempted smear campaign by a former employee (unhappy obviously), but it did help by making sure companies are doing the right thing.

I've worked with many Mexican and other hispanic employees at Moon Valley Nursery and I can assure that they're paid well for the work that they perform and are employed on their own free will, not as slave labor. Moon Valley even has it's own health care clinic available to all employees free of charge.

I'm glad that forums like this exist as long as folks are using them for the proper reasons and have correct facts to back it up.
