Firestone charged for diagnostic check when it was not complete - Diagnostic tests

I took my car in because my check engine light was on. I was told that there was a fee for a COMPLETE DIAGNOSTIC TEST of $99.99 and the test would take 1 to 1 1/2 hrs to complete. They had my car in the bay for approx. 30 minutes and Jeff called me to the counter and told me they really didn't know what was wrong with the car and due to time, they didn't want to tear the car down and not be able to put back together before closing which would be in 3 hours. I was told to either leave the car over the weekend or bring it back on Monday. I made an appointment to bring it back Monday @ 9am. I was told that I still had to pay for the diagnostic fee now. I told them that the test was not fully complete. Jeff said they did part of it and 'THINK" think they know where the problem is. My car was held hostage and I had to pay for something that I didn't get in order for me to get the keys to my car.

Ladies, be careful dealing with auto mechanics whether they be shade tree mechanics or large repair centers like Firestone, because they prey on women!
