Ripoff, horrible customer service, won't refund money

We signed a contract with Neumann Homes in July. The house was supposed to be done in mid- January. It's Jan 5th now, and they haven't broken ground yet.

Their contract gives them a way out of everything. They could take 2 years to build your house, as long as they had an excuse.

They've given us the run around on everything, blaming the road contractors and the weather (the weather was fine until today). We've called numerous people from VP's to Sales Reps and we've sent letters to at least 5 people in the company, along with emails. No one will reply or call us back.

The customer service is horrible. One of the words on their brochure is TRUST. The also say it's a "Neu" experience... Well it sure is. Our first builder was awesome.

From what I've read from others, I don't want them throwing up our new house in 80-90 days so we get inferior work on top of the delay.

We are stuck in temp housing waiting for them to dig a hole in the snow. We just want our earnest money back so we can find a place to live.
