Bought $2700 notebook 5/06. Between 5/06 and 6/2/07 approx 3-4 motherboards & defective screen replaced in my "new" comp with several Full System Recovery concerned. During this period GW had the compensation longer than I did so & my acquired COMPLETE 3-year guarantee was dimishing.

6/7/07 I was sent a "new?" RESTORED unit, (I obtained somebody elses faulty, issue stuffed computer!)

4/22/08 Motherboard was changed because of insufficient capacity to unit.

7/30/08 called GW with issues. Technology appt designed for FRESH MOTHERBOARD

8/5 TECHNOLOGY DID NOT DISPLAY. Resched Technology 8/14 - TECHNO SHOW! I named @ 12noon guaranteed me a named back "immediately". No-call - I NAMED @ 1pm. Rescheduled lastly - new MOTHERBOARD & KEYBOARD.

9/30/08 - NO capacity to compensation. Named Gateway - Gilbert in 2nd Degree assistance insisted device return to GW. GW recvd comp 10/9/08 into @ Repair middle.

I Spoke to Christine @ GW 10/10 - motherboard is backordered.

10/30 I spoke to Roxanne @ GW - "still awaiting motherboard cannot provide every other info". 10/30 after 1 time on-hold was transferred to "increasing support mail" and was informed GW likely to obtain portion 10/31.

11/18 - Shavontee @ GW was EXCESSIVELY rude in my experience & mentioned to deliver a notice to Cust Serv in Speed, Texas easily do not like her solutions.

11/18 - Sarah @ GW - ready on motherboard but may increase my guarantee.

1/7/09 Frank @ GW - to send new M-1622H comp.

1/22/09 Jeremy @ GW - compensation to be always a RESTORED DEVICE!!! & must have 2 wks

Quality wanted: i'd like a brand new new pc, never used or registered to a different client. I don't want a restored calculated when i obtained formerly with serious outcomes! If gateway declined to furnish me having a new pc i'd like to be reimbursed for the whole original price because it has been around disrepair in the date of original purchase. I will buy another superior create / design notebook! Having a company with better customer support!

Service or product: poor! I've repeatedly told gw that is might work compensation!

Extra Information after Better Business Bureau problem was posted:

1/23/08 I obtained a phone from WADE @ GW Corporate Office. Wade mentioned he went over my problems and he realized that I had been obtaining a “new” pc. He mentioned which was how they manage these kind of problems and there's nothing else-they are prepared to do.

After I reiterated to him this was MIGHT WORK pc and my living he simply covered me down and explained this may be the method Entrance addresses these circumstances.

I'm so disgusted with entrance like a business and computer

Up to now i don't have a pc. It has been 5 weeks and both pcs (the initially purchase and the first alternative) hasbeen "fixed" by gateway techical support 8 (eight) times!

This is actually the 2nd alternative - 2nd restored that i'll be getting and entrance is ignorant towards the fact they've had the computer longer than i've! It's been from commission to me for months at the same time since bought!
