AdAware Lavasoft Software is a Scam

I had an issue with my computer 3 months ago and searched the internet for a solution. From reading information on line it seemed that downloading Lavasoft AdAware software would help. However, it did not help so I tried to uninstall the software. After many days of trying I was finally able to partially uninstall the Lavasoft AdAware software. It was a real challenge because the software was hidden, and had changed permissions. Even not, the software is not completely gone every my many attempts and most every time I try to open my main computer file folder the AdAware Software starts to install, but since the software has been mostly uninstalled the process stops but interferes for a short period of time with my other computer processes. I since purchased McAfee and have tried to shred the process that cause this issue, but have not been successful. I have wasted many hours on this problem and when I check the internet for solutions all I can find are advertisements and fake posts for AdAware as a solution - BUT IT IS REALLY THE PROBLEM. It is still causing the same issue for me and is very frustrating. I want to caution unsuspecting users - LAVASOFT ADAWARE is a SCAM.
