Squeeking

I purchased a set of jordan dentro reduced's size 7 1/2 for my son on january 27. A few weeks ago they've been creating a squeeking audio on every action. That is embarrassing. I settled $108.25 for these shoes. I tried to get them traded but footaction wouldn't change them. So what can i actually do? I paid for them by amex. I will always contact amex and also have them change the costs. This is my latter. I truly don't want the store to loose out-but i certainly am not likely to loose out.
