I had heard horrible reviews of the newest Subway in Marysville, WA. However, I like to form my own opinion so we took a chance today. My husband picked up subs after we saw the October special for $5 footlongs any sandwich. His sandwiches are normally $5 a footlong. However, my flatbread club was charged $7.50. Very disappointing also was the toppings on each 1/2 were cut thin and skimpy. The pictures on the website show a healthy sandwich. My 12" club had 3 thin slices of turkey, 2 thin slices of ham, and 2 thin slices of roast beef. (I see more than that on the 6" pictured on the website.) All toppings were thinly sliced as well - maybe 1/16th of an inch on the 6 slices of tomatoes, but 1/32nd of an inch on the 6 transparent slices of cucumber and green pepper. The olives were average. However, the sandwich when folded had way more bread than ingredients. The contents of the sandwich do not even keep the seams of the bread from touching. I usually won't take the time to write a review but I was so thoroughly disappointed at the quality and sad to agree with the first reviewer. I know I would rather drive a little farther and get a much more substantial sandwich for a little more gas... Than get gouged at this restaurant. And they blame the recession - really it's just crappy service without any value.
