Holiday Inn Buena Park Aka Ventanas Grill
Ripoff add gratutity to your bill without your knowledge

We ate ate the Ventanas Grill in the Holiday Inn Buena Park on December 26. The service sucked. It took 15 minutes to receive coffee. When our food came it was cold. I believe I received food poisoning that day.

It wasn't until two days later when we ate in the grill also located in the hotel (my husband and our three kids) that I relized they added gratutity on to the bill.

The server said they have to do that with the kids eat free.
He said they get a lot of travelers from other countries that do not tip. So I called the general manager that day. She basically called me a liar about the food poisoning well in not so many words.

The problem that I have is the gratutity is being added before the kids eat free food is being taken off. So the first time it happened the bill was over $75 at 17% gratutity it's like $12.75 plus we left a $12 tip on the table. The second time in the lounge it was only $5.34 tip added to my bill in return I left a $5 tip. I was refunded the $5. But since we paid cash the first time we are out of luck.

Beware of eating at the Holiday Inn Buena Park in California.
I also have sent a health inspector out there.
