Cafe Saporito, ShopDani.com SCAM! Un-authorized and fraudulent charges, phantom companies and phone numbers

A year ago or more my husband signed up for a free coffee deal if he signed up with Seattle Coffee Direct. He canceled the membership almost immediately after realizing this wasn't such a good idea. Months after canceling the membership he was still receiving coffee we didn't order and being charged for the membership every month. After finally getting hold of someone at their phone number we told them we had canceled the membership months ago and demanded to be refunded the charges. They said they would remove his name and refund the money, which they did. However, the next month we get charged again. Call again and got refunded again.

The day after Thanksgiving my husband and I were looking at our bank accounts and noticed a charge of $79 from a shopDani.com. Neither me nor my husband had ever heard of this company and looked at their website to find they sell cheap handmade jewelry. We tried calling the company but no one ever answered. Therefore, we called my husbands bank and filed a dispute claim. The bank reimbursed us, but we had to cancel his card and wait for replacement cards to be sent.

Today I received a shipment of coffee again from Seattle Coffee Direct, but the packaging says the shipment was sent from a company called Cafe Saporito. I tried calling the phone number on the package and a piece of paper found on the inside, but no one ever answered. There was no packing slip or receipt or any information about the package itself just a phone number with their times of operation.

This company and its sister companies are all frauds trading card numbers and addresses hoping you won't contest it. Beware about signing up for anything that requires your card numbers. If this happens to you call you credit card company or bank immediately. You can try wasting your time calling the fraud companies first, but more than likely you will be frustrated and get no where anyways. Even if they say they take you off their list as you have read they do not it just gets passed along. It is better to cancel the card and get a new one. Good luck.
